On September 23, 2011 at the Udine headquarters of Friuli Venezia Giulia Region was held the final conference of the project LIFE06NAT/IT/000060 "Conservation and restoration of calcareous fens in Friuli". Were presented the results obtained during the 5 years if activity and, thanks to the participation of technicians and experts working on direct management of wetlands, was been opened a comparison of wetlands protection and management with other experiments carried out both at regional and national level. The day later there was a guided tour of one of the most significant areas of the project, the natural habitat of the Flambro Resurgences.
